NeuroCa: Data analysis toolbox for optical neurophysiology

Picture
What is NeuroCa?

NeuroCa is a stand-alone toolbox based on Matlab for automated processing and quantitative analysis of optically recorded neural activity data.

Features
  • Automated identification of single cells from imaging data
  • Detection of spikes from fluorescent signals of each neuron
  • Spike train analyses with quantitative measures (firing rate, inter-spike interval, spike amplitude)
  • Cross-correlation
  • Spatiotemporal mapping of neuronal firing patterns in synchronous activity
  • Support of various image types
  • Creation of MAT-type result files for custom analysis in Matlab
  • Convenient, user-friendly interfaces for each function
