This work is one of few actual attempts to integrate microfluidic devices and MEAs for implementing micro-environments for cultured neurons. In this work, we successfully established a protocol to maintain neuronal networks in microchannels for 5 weeks. (Link to article)

This work was mainly performed by Dr. YS Goo in Chung-book Univ. medical school. Seok-young Lee and Yoonkey Nam performed a series of experiments to measure and calculate currents while delivering voltage stimuli. NEL mainly contributed in producing Figure 2 in this paper.
