남윤기 교수가 (사)대한의용생체공학회에서 수여하는 루트로닉 의공학상 (최우수논문상)을 수상하였습니다. Prof. Nam received LUTRONIC Biomedical Engineering Award (Best Paper Award) from the Korean Society of Medical & Biological Engineering (KOSOMBE)   Prof. Nam will serve as an Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engeering (T-BME). IEEE T-BME is a top tier peer-reviewed journal in biomedical engineering field. (link)
한국공학한림원에서 선정한 '2025, 대한민국을 이끌 100대 기술과 주역'에 남윤기 교수가 뇌과학 응용기술 분야에 주역으로 선정되었습니다. (관련기사) The National Academy of Engineering of Korea announced 'The Top 100 Technologies and Leaders in 2025 Korea'. Among the technologies, Prof. Nam was elected as the leader in Neurotechnology area Prof. Nam gave a Keynote talk ("Nano-plasmonic neural interface: Modulating neural activity with light and heat") in Neurofluidics 2017 at Grenoble, France.  Prof. Nam gave an invited on title "Brain-on-a-Chip technology: Application of thermo-plasmonics to control neural activity on a chip" at the 9th International Symposium on Microchemistry and Microsystems.  한국연구재단 우수논문상 수상

남윤기 교수는 미국 전자공학회(IEEE) 산하 의공학분과 (EMBS, Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society) 에서 발간하는 학술지 (IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering) 편집 위원으로 선임되었다. 이 학술지는 연간 1000여편의 논문이 투고되는 의공학 기술 전문 학술지로, 남교수는 신경공학 분야의 투고 논문을 심사하는 Associate Editor 로 활동하게 된다. 이 학술지의 편집위원은 전세계적으로 약 80여명이 있으며, 국내에서는 현재 2명이 활동하고 있다. 2.16 개교 40주년 기념 우수교원 포상 남윤기 교수: 공동연구상 (남윤기,박제균, 이도헌, 조광현, 최양규(전기및전자공학과), 최인성(화학과) 교수님) 수상배경: 본 공동연구과제는 살아있는 신경세포를 이용한 'Neuron-on-a-Chip 설계 및 활용기술'에 대한 융합연구로 기존의 신경세포칩의 한계를 극복하고 새로운 연구분야를 개척하기 위해 남윤기 교수를 중심으로 유기표면화학(최인성 교수), 나노전자공학(최양규 교수), 바이오칩(박제균 교수),시스템생물학(조광현 교수), 생물정보학(이도헌 교수)의 서로 다른 연구영역을 융합하는 공동연구를 통하여 신경세포배양기술, 신경네트워크 패터닝 기술과 다채널미세신경센서칩 설계 및 활용분야 국제우수저널에 논문 9편을 싣는 성과를 거두었 습니다. 이 공동연구의 특징은 신경세포라는 신경세포라는 생물학적 요소와 NT, IT 요소가 시너지 효과를 발휘할 수 있게 새로운 연구내용을 도출하여 연구를 수행한 것이고, 그 결과 물리, 화학, 생물, 정보, 바이오칩 분야에서 파급효과가 높은 저널에서 인정받는 연구결과 들을 창출하였습니다.  Prof. Nam presented recent research progress in UK-Korea Neuroscience Symposium held at Bristol, UK. The title of the talk was " Application of soft-lithographic technique to design neural circuits in vitro".  Prof. Nam received 'Excellence in Teaching Award' from KAIST. 남윤기 교수가 교내 우수강의상을 수상하였습니다. |
